Bordeaux Metropole welcome the champions of tomorrow

Between 24 July and 2 August 2024, the city will host 7 matches in the men's and women's football tournament at the Matmut Atlantique stadium, part of the world's most important sporting event, including the quarter-finals of the discipline!
The metropolitan area is already strongly committed to supporting the Olympic and Paralympic Games since 2020 Bordeaux Metropole and 10 municipalities of the Metropole, including Bordeaux, have been awarded the label "Land of the Games 2024", through which the communities are committed to bringing sport and Olympic values to life in preparation for the arrival of the Games in 2024.

On May 23, the Bordeaux metropolis welcomed the Olympic flame! It was an unforgettable moment for locals and visitors alike, who came to admire the sporting relay carried out by several local torchbearers.
